Made For Love

We were made for love, to be loved, to know love, to love and to abide in His perfect love.

As you may know I love talking about things that I love and I love getting other people to find things that they love. Life was not meant to be boring, we were created as passionate people full of LIFE. The very word life is used as a term of being alive and living full. I believe that as we fall more in love with God our capacity to love grows. The more we love, the more we love. There is no end to love; it isn’t a limited resource. Love Himself, is eternal and never ending. It doesn’t make sense to earthly laws and yet it makes more sense than anything else.

We were created by Love, with the intention and purpose for revealing His love in a unique way to the world. We were created with the capacity of loving like He does. As out of reach as that seems, it’s not. He said, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. He doesn’t tell us to do something that is impossible for us. We can love like HE does, because we have the ability of receiving His love.

To love like He does first requires us to actually believe that we are His beloved creation. We need to receive His love. He loves us so much!! He created us to be loved by Him!! Let that sink in for a moment. Your belief and acceptance of truth doesn’t make it true, it was always and will always be true, but your belief in the truth empowers that truth in your life, so you will see that truth expressed in a greater measure throughout your life than you have before.

Just as our words create life and death, our words are made up of our thoughts and our beliefs, and our thoughts and beliefs come from our hearts.

Our hearts need to believe and receive His love. When we receive His love we are able to love like He does. Yes, it is more than possible to love like Him. In fact we can’t love without Him. We can’t give something that only comes from Him when we haven’t received it from Him, there are many fake, cheap imitations but nothing compares to His real, extravagant love.

Even in all our imperfections and faults. We are His beloved. I’m not saying dwell in your unworthiness, yes, none of us humans are perfect, but He gave up everything for you, to be with you. I know He doesn’t make mistakes, He says we are worth it and I believe Him. His love changes everything. His love makes us whole. His love makes us clean and brand new.

Ask the Lord to come and fill you with His Truth & Love. Ask for the revelation of His love (the most real thing on the planet), being created for love, to be loved and to love.. Just let Him in. He is so so good & His love is extravagant!
